The Targets Drum & Bugle Corps of Springfield, MA is committed to providing its members with all the opportunities drum corps has to offer.  It is a competitive musical sport, combining music and marching as a vehicle to compete and entertain. 

However, Drum Corps is not only about music.  It's about teaching young adults commitment, pride, and striving for excellence in whatever they do in life.  Drum Corps helps build responsible adults.  It is the goal of the Targets to give any young adult, regardless or experience or financial background, the opportunity to experience the Drum Corps activity.

The Targets were reorganized in late 1995 by a group of dedicated Drum Corps individuals and joined the Eastern MA Drum and Bugle Corps Association in 1997.  Over a three year span, the Targets were crowned Class 3 Champions in 1997 and Class B Champions in 1999.  In 2000, the Corps joined the Garden State Circuit and Drum Corps International Division II/III.  The Targets will continue to compete in the same venue.
